The Flushing Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual Flushing Walleye Festival in March at St. Robert’s Activity Center, 310 N. Cherry Street.
The festival was initially designed to promote Flushing’s natural asset, the Flint River and has grown to promote all Michigan waters. The festival brings in over 350 fishermen and women and over 5,000 persons for its outdoor expo, fish dinner, and other entertainment and activities.
